Newborn Sleep. From the start.

If you can’t sleep-train your newborn, what can you do to help them have amazing sleep patterns and avoid regressions? This workshop was created for the expecting parent wanting to feel prepared and the newborn mama feeling overwhelmed by the constant changes of sleep (or lack of sleep!).

Find the right fit for your family. Which one are you?

  • You may be totally at your wits end and confused about what to try next. Your baby has changed how they liked to be soothed and now you just go through everything and it’s not working anymore! Your family is desperate for sleep and this baby (4+ months-4 years) is ready for it too!

A Custom Sleep Plan with Support may be right for you.

  • Ages 2 and older have a special way of pushing that bedtime and refusing a nap (while also looking obviously tired!). With a little magic and mindset, joining them in the silly while also inviting the calm, and a my coaching along the way through tricky transitions- you can save your sanity and solve the late night negotiations.

The Sleep Plan with Support package can be tailored to this toddler’s needs and get you all sleeping wherever you wish.

Live locally to Southern Maine? Let’s combine the learning and support with some in-home sessions! Yoga and mindfulness, hands-on tools, and modeling sleep or transition routines are all customized to your needs in the In-home Support Session package.

  • I’ve got my sights set on a goal and just don’t know the best path to get there. Big kid bed transition is overwhelming me. Traveling for a few weeks and how my baby will sleep is a total unknown. Is my kiddo dropping a nap, working through a growth spurt, or reliant on something I give them to get to sleep (or all three!)?

A Consultation Call can be the best step towards better sleep when you have that feeling like there’s something missing and a third party perspective (and expert who’s seen it all!) may shape your next steps. Smooth out something smaller like common struggles or stressful changes with me on your side.

  • Like any parent education class, doula visit, or birth prep- it’s a huge relief to know what to expect so you aren’t blindsided when already overwhelmed. The Newborn Sleep + Regressions virtual workshop was created for you!

Any service can be customized to be a newborn support and education rather than traditional sleep training. In-home Visits and Consultation Calls will be a major asset to preparing your personal environment and setting up for great sleep from the start. Meet Shannon.

With a career in education and a passion for creating enriching moments for children in nature and the classroom, Shannon is a caretaker and a guide through + through. When she became a mom herself, the world of parenting and infant care opened up and she embraced it with excited and willing arms. Then came the late-night googling…and the thousands of books on babies…and the second guessing if we were doing it right…and the overwhelming options for parenting styles, child rearing methods, and feeding and sleep topics galore! As a life-long learner, she enjoyed discovering the science and personal content available on infant development + needs. It fueled her journey raising her daughter, Ruby. But man, it was hard! Why don’t they send you home with a step by step guide and an expert to come live with you? Well then she found said expert- a pediatric sleep consultant! Continued…

Are you ready to sleep all night and have an easy process to get there?

I offer a few different ways to help, as each parent, child, home, and situation is different. So, your approach to getting better sleep for all is unique as well. I’ll do the work up front so you don’t have to.

But why do most parents choose a Sleep Plan with Support Package? Because it works! It’s a start-to-finish path to custom sleep training that will actually get you all sleeping.

Here’s how it works >

First I get to know you and your baby through an intake form that can get us started in finding the best fitting approach.

Next, we connect! This process is possible through the teamwork of the caretakers in baby’s life and my skills and resources to guide you. You put in the intention and efforts and I’ll do the rest! Depending on which package you choose, I can provide:

  • Sleep plan for your child with nap and bedtime routines and schedules (including how they shift and adapt).

  • How to soothe your baby when they protest being put to bed.

  • What ideal environment and sleep/awake time frames the average baby that age prefers. Your baby’s temperament and your lifestyle help shape these guidelines as well.

  • Support letting go of tricks or time-consuming processes you have been using to help baby sleep and now want to drop. Also can provide information on feeds that may or may not be for soothing rather than nourishment (always based on your doctor’s recommendation and your choice/desire to make adjustments).

  • Understanding the science of sleep and possible reasons behind night waking or short/refused naps.

  • Real-time text support so you’re confident to make the best choice while navigating the new or challenging world of sleep training or addressing difficult sleep behaviors.

  • Shared document or app to log baby’s activities in a shared virtual environment so the whole team can see patterns and know what to expect. Babies can’t verbally tell you what they need, but having a sleep log can work wonders in creating a communication lane. As your sleep educator with experience and clinical resources to support, I can help to translate.
